Conversation Todd had with Beck while walking home. It was dark outside with a bright moon and one very bright star in the sky. The clouds were small and lit up by the moon and moving pretty fast as they passed over the moon. It was windy out.

Todd: It's the moon.

Beck: It's a crescent moon.

Todd: Wow! That's right. It is a crescent moon. That's very good.

Beck: It's moving fast.

Todd: Well, the clouds are moving fast. I think the moon is staying still.

Beck: Uh-huh. And the moon is moving fast.

Todd. Oh, okay. I guess the moon is moving fast too.

Beck: The moon is looking for the animals on the clouds.

Todd: (amazed) Wow. Really? The moon is looking for the animals on the clouds?

Beck: Uh-huh. Squirrels are looking for nuts.

Todd: Ha. Oh, yeah?

Beck: Yeah! Nuts wear hats.

Todd: Well, yeah...I guess they do wear hats. Little hats.

Beck: Uh huh.

Todd: But, the squirrels don't eat the hats. They only eat the nuts. Not the hats.

Beck: (confused look) Right.

We talked a little more. I got the sense that he thinks that there is more than one moon. Which makes sense to me.
